Additionally, he has volunteered with several organizations over the years, including his 2007 designation as Founding President of Florida Opportunity Fund, Florida's official private equity and venture fund program, and he served as president of Miami-Dade Beacon Counsel, Miami-Dade public / private economic development organization.

Nick is a career finance professional with a passion for growth & constant process improvement. Before joining Salt, Nick led the accounting and finance function at The Salty establishing the financial processes used today. This role included weekly reporting, month end reporting, cash flow management, capital raising, corporate governance, ERP implementation, budgeting, investor relations and more. Prior to his role at Salty, Nick spent seven years at Stanley Black & Decker in increasing roles of leadership and responsibility in the accounting and finance organization for the US, European and emerging markets.
